As a DJ with over nine years experience running successful Karaoke shows I thought I’d share my thoughts on what it takes to make a Karaoke show a great experience for everyone.
Singing Karaoke is all about having fun for the customers. For the owners, it’s all about making money and repeat business. Once you’ve accomplish these three goals you will have a successful Karaoke show that everyone wants to attend.
It’s always a good idea to make a list of what needs to get done before, during and after each show, a list keeps you organized and focused. My To Do List consists of the following 8 items.
- Be Prepared
a. Check equipment to make sure it’s in working order
b. Charge and sterilize microphones
c. Update computer, hard drives and songbooks
d. Replenish supplies (song slips, pencils, batteries)
e. Bring backup equipment (computer, hard drives, cables, etc.)
